Do you like butter? If it says "butter" it must be bad, right? Not true! According as what I have read, eating peanut butter has not only been associated with lower total cholesterol, but it tames hunger for much longer than your typical diet fare. A very small dose is rich in protein and one tablespoon is all it takes to feel satisfied. And almond butter is just as heart-healthy as its peanut sibling! It makes an excellent replacement for those with peanut allergies.
Add a bit of peanut butter to your apple slices or grab a bag of soy chips and smear, dip or dab with a tablespoon of your favorite nut butter. It tastes like cookie dough. Really! It is good for your health too!
