"It's more stressful to continue being fat than to stop overeating." We say amen to that. The road to healthy living can be a bit challenging, we know. We also know that it doesn't have to be overwhelming. Here are some small, practical that will impact your diet in a big, big way:
Add just one fruit or veggie serving daily. Get comfortable with that, and then add an extra serving until you reach 8 to 10 a day. Eat before you meet. Have this small meal before you go to any parties: a hardboiled egg, apple and a thirst quencher (water, seltzer, diet soda, tea). Use mustard instead of mayo. See what you eat. Plate your food instead of eating out of the jar or bag. Instead of whole milk, switch to 1 percent. If you drink one 8-ounce glass per day, you'll lose 5 pounds in a year.
