Meat Healthy Tips

Missing something? You could be if, as part of your low-fat diet, you've been avoiding red meat. Beef is an excellent source of high-quality protein and iron (two things your body might be craving), and it's surprisingly easy to include in a healthy low-fat diet. Just keep these tips in mind:
Choose lean or "extra-lean" cuts, like sirloin, tenderloin or round cuts.Keep portions to around 4 ounces (slightly bigger than a deck of cards). Trim the fat before cooking.Add flavor without adding calories by using vinegar-based marinades or a dry spice rub.
Eat healthy for a healthy body!
