Father's Day is Coming

He mows the lawn, takes out the trash and will kill the biggest bug to protect his family. He is the head of the family. He does everything just for the good of his family. Father’s day is coming. Father's Day is the one day of the year that's all about giving thanks to the best dad in the world. And I know my husband is one of those dads. He was a good husband and a loving father to baby Ashley. Not sure how to celebrate it? Maybe, I buy Father’s Day card for him of course I write it down there from baby Ashley. Maybe, that’s a good idea. He knows already we love him.

For my father, I wish I’m there in Philippines to greet him Happy Father’s Day. He was the best dad for me.

I’m just lucky to take this picture of her. Actually she is not a camera freak. I mean, every time I toke a good picture of her she will cry.

This picture was taken when my husband hold her. We’re just in living room watching television when I make some funny faces and sounds to her that makes here giggle a lot. She got a big smile in her face.

Grilled Hickory Pork Chops

Its summer time and its nice to have picnic together with family outside. Talking about picnic, food is one of the things needed and grilling is the best to cook food outside.
Talking about grilling, this recipe of mine is good to make – grilled hickory pork chops.

How to make? It’s really easy. You just need the following: 2 boneless pork chops of course, ½ cup white wine, 3 tablespoons olive oil, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 clove garlic crushed, ½ teaspoon dried sage, 2 teaspoons dried parsley, pepper to taste and of course hickory wood chips. Mix wine, oil, lemon juice, garlic, sage, parsley, and pepper in a small bowl. Place pork chops in a plastic bag shallow or shallow dish and cover with marinade. Refrigerate the pork, covered, for 2 to 4 hours. Meanwhile, soak the hickory chips in a bowl of water for at least 30 minutes. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate. Put the soaked hickory chips over the coals. Cook the pork chops on the grill for 10 to 15 minutes, or until desired doneness is achieved. For best results, cover the grill while cooking so that the meat is infused with the smoke flavor. This recipe makes 2 servings. Try it, its really delicious barbeque.
